The only regret I have about Face Yoga is that I didn’t start this programme 10 years ago. And it’s not like I hadn’t heard of it. But as they say, it’s never too late.I joined Suzana’s Face Yoga classes at the beginning of September 2024. From the very first session, I felt so great that I decided to incorporate a few minutes of Face Yoga into my daily routine, alongside brushing my teeth, in addition to attending Suzana’s classes. My skin becomes well-circulated and radiant, with visible effects practically right away. There’s also the added benefit of setting aside time just for yourself.

I highly recommend Suzana’s Face Yoga programme to everyone. Now there’s even an online version, making it even harder to say, “I don’t have time.”

Face yoga, for me, is not just a path to firmer skin and slowing the signs of ageing. No, it is a journey of healing, a commitment I made to myself, which has become an integral part of my life. Why? Two difficult and uncertain surgeries in my early thirties. Yet, youth and the drive to achieve often make us forget how the body 'locks up' when it can no longer bear the weight of worries, sorrow, grief, and anxiety. We rarely learn the lesson. We simply pick up where we left off. In the constant attempt to tick off daily obligations, we often have the least time for ourselves. In the morning, a familiar face greets us from the mirror. We glance at it fleetingly. But then, ten years later, one morning, we see a stranger. A face marked by all the world's worries and our neglect of self-care. Diagnoses have already arrived. Autoimmune diseases. Doctor visits. Nonsteroidal and steroid therapies, hormone replacements. Supplements. Yet, we keep rushing, scattered everywhere. Broken into pieces. When the body says STOP, it truly means it. It catches us unprepared, even a bit arrogant in our belief that nothing can function without us. But it can—and it could.

When a friend sent me the schedule for yoga classes, the box that read Face Yoga immediately caught my eye. I said we had to try it. She said it was the only thing she hadn't considered. Still, we agreed—let's give it a shot. Somehow, I knew it was my path. A path to myself. A gift from myself to myself. What began as a 'try' became a way of life. I look forward to each new session even before the current one ends. An hour where I let that incredible feminine energy flood over me. Moments where I’ve learned to turn off everything external and literally ‘be here and now.’ To quiet my mind. Perhaps the greatest value for me is the entry of Suzana into my life, with whom I’ve felt a special connection from day one. She dedicates herself to each of us, answers every question, and encourages us to step into something new, to leave our comfort zone. It’s always a gentle and kind encouragement, never a sense of obligation. She guides us through the labyrinths of our souls and teaches us how our being (both matter and spirit) repays every moment of attention a hundredfold.

I admit, the transformation I’ve experienced even surprises me. The inner transformation is far more significant to me. Along with the feeling that I’m doing something important for myself, there’s also the sense of belonging to a wonderful group of women. But I must confess, the external transformation matters to me too. It feels like a bonus. My face, after a long time, is my own. The person looking back at me from the mirror is me again. I start my day with Suzana’s magical phrase, and I can’t help but smile. And, as Suzana says, that’s already the first exercise done because with a smile, we lift our face against gravity. I then say what I’ll say to you: "Good morning, beautiful!"

I decided to try Face Yoga during my pregnancy, and it turned out to be one of the best decisions during that special period of my life. Suzana is incredibly attentive, patient, and dedicated, which was invaluable to me as an expectant mother.After just a few sessions, I noticed significant changes. For many years, I have practised yoga and various spiritual techniques. I am deeply connected to my body, and as a Reiki master and practitioner of several other healing techniques, I follow what my body communicates. I sense its fluctuations and changes, striving to maintain balance and harmony within myself.

It was Suzana Š. who introduced me to the world of Face Yoga, and from the very first encounter with this technique, I felt a deeper connection with my face. It was as though I had only then truly become aware of the fact that my face is the most exposed and expressive part of my body. My face is where I manifest various emotional expressions, and for this reason, it requires special care and attention.

Following Suzana's guidance, which included selecting and applying natural oils for skincare during the practice, I enjoyed the feeling of gentle and soft movements. Through tapping my face and neck in specific directions, touching acupressure points, and performing various exercises, I was able to release tension from my face and neck. Over time, I noticed improved circulation and muscle tone in my face.

I am not an advocate of invasive techniques to maintain a youthful and fresh appearance, especially since my skin is very sensitive. Therefore, incorporating all these elements of Face Yoga perfectly suits me. The method is natural and simple to apply. I am fascinated by the variety of approaches in gently yet effectively treating the skin and muscles in the areas of the décolleté, neck, and face.

I feel as though, through touch, I am connecting all my other senses. I give them significance by gently treating the tissues around them, stimulating each individually while encouraging their interconnectedness. For all these experienced benefits, I have added Face Yoga to my list of activities aimed at self-care.

In line with my life principles, I chose Suzana’s courses because she nurtures a holistic approach to life and health. She is highly dedicated and professional, and her Face Yoga sessions are both creative and inspiring. They offer me the opportunity to establish mental, spiritual, and physical balance while being conscious of nurturing the beauty of my expression in the gentlest and most loving way.
